Paige glanced at Jubilee ruefully. "Yessir."
Jubilee groaned and launched a pillow at Paige.
"Could ye both come up to m' office then? There's something I want to talk to ye about."
"We'll be up in a second, sir." Paige released the intercom button. "C'mon. I'm sure it'll only take a minute."
"Die. Die foul being. God, ya just had to tell him, didn'tcha?" Jubilee dragged herself to her feet. "I'll get you my pretty, and your little cat too.." she mumbled as they trudged down the hall.
"Dog."
"Whatever."
"What's your problem, anyway?" Paige asked, "It's not like we're being hauled up on the carpet for somthing we did."
"Speak for yourself. Didja think Ange was the one who cut Cassidy's coffee with dirt?"
"Nah, we all knew that was you."
"Huh?" Jubilee's head swiveled around. "How'd you guess?"
"Ange has too much respect for the restorative powers of coffee."
"Damn. Too obvious."
"Yep."
The pair stood outside Sean's office. Strains of carnival music drifted out from underneath the door. Jubilee whimpered. "Do we have to?"
To go in or not to go in...
